I earned my BS at the University of Nevada Las Vegas 2003 and my MS at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005.  My advisor was Alan Carroll and my graduate work landed me in Wyoming, describing and correlating several sections of fluvial deposits in the Green River Formation.

I have many fond memories of friendships, Friday afternoon seminars of many types, field trips, research and field work, and camaraderie.

I am enjoying my return to the academic world.  At the University of Binghamton I teach surface processes and environmental geology, and I also maintain the department web page.  I plan to pursue my PhD in geomorphology in the next year or so, watering the seeds I first began to sow as an undergraduate student.

I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring students.  I look forward to the opportunity to make it such a fundamental part of my career.
