My fellow graduate students and I were the first students to occupy Weeks Hall, after the department moved out of Science Hall. I have a BA in Geology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and my MS and PhD from UW-Madison, studying with (Emeritus Professor) Dave Mickelson, when the Friends of the Pleistocene was a musical group, as well as a field trip organization.
I manage and coordinate WGNHS public information and outreach activities, including those related to traditional paper publications, digital publications and products, and web-based information.
I am a registered geologist in seven states and have nearly 30 years of environmental consulting experience. I was member and co-chair of the Wisconsin Groundwater Advisory Committee, created by 2003 WI Act 310 to make recommendations to the State Legislature regarding future groundwater management needs in Wisconsin.
