Madeline Gotkowitz, PhD, is a hydrogeologist in the Bureau of Drinking Water and Groundwater at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. With professional interests that span physical and chemical hydrogeology, Madeline applies fundamental hydrogeological analysis to water resources management across Wisconsin. Her work supports the efforts of municipal water systems, agricultural interests, and food processing facilities to address groundwater quality (e.g. arsenic, radium and pathogens) and quantity (drawdown and stream depletion) concerns across a wide variety of hydrogeologic settings.
